We’ve been working hard on multiple projects over the past few weeks. As usual, our focus is to improve our existing features, and add useful new ones. The main highlights are:
I talked about MFA last month, but it bears mentioning again. It’s a simple but effective system that works with any authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator), allowing you to secure all logins to the compliance database. All you need to do is contact us so we can set you up.
We now notify your team if any changes have been made on site that affect your people or plant certification. This has two great benefits. Where a supervisor has helpfully updated new expiry dates after a service, you’ll be informed, and the efficient process will allow you to update Compliance. On the flip side, if the supervisor has added incorrect dates, the same system will allow you to reject this, keeping your data clean.
We always try to keep current with changes in guidance and best practice, and you’ll know from my writings that the HSE has a renewed interest in leak testing.
Expect the Asbestos Network guidance to land in the summer, but if you’re using our Paperless solution you’ll see that we’ve already got you covered. The supervisor will now see a new tab on their tablet – within that they can record any leak tests, as well as backgrounds and reassurances. The data automatically uploads to the project on Compliance. We’re keeping you 100% compliant, months ahead of schedule.
The recent Asbestos Network exposure guidance has made setting an exposure strategy a whole lot more complex. No longer is ‘40% of all asbestos insulating boards (AIB) jobs’ sufficient; now you need to go into a massive amount more detail. As I’ve explained more fully in this post, you now need individual strategies for everything you do, such as:
This is jolly hard to do with a spreadsheet, but Assure360 had it sorted years ago – four years before the guidance, in fact. When supervisors complete their daily paperwork on the tablet, Assure360’s Exposure Strategy dashboard report automatically tracks what they are doing, and what tests have been done against your strategy. It’s not only simple, but 100% admin-free!
If you’ve not taken advantage of the feature yet, talk to Rick to get configured. And if you have been using it, you’ll notice that we’ve tuned it. Now, instead of seeing all the activities your team are experiencing on site, we only show you the ones that have triggered a need for a personal monitoring test. Much clearer reporting.
Finally, I’m delighted to say that the Plant module is finally here. Based on the People module, it allows you to manage all of your plant and equipment, and plan for certificate expiry dates. And while the bonnet was up, we also finished off the workflow emails. Now when a certificate (plant or people) is about to expire, we’ll warn you by email – and warn you again if it does expire.
