16-17 September 2026
NEC Birmingham
The once Hazardous Materials Expo has been through a few iterations in recent years. It’s now part of the ESS Expo, a large umbrella event gathering experts and workers in fields from energy and air quality, through recycling and contamination. Now the Contamination and Land Remediation Expo (CLR), it promises opportunities to network, collaborate, and learn through discussions, workshops and expert panels.

King Power Stadium, Leicester
This year the 21st annual Mesothelioma Patient and Carer Day takes place at the King Power Stadium. It’s an opportunity to connect and share experiences with others, as well as learn about the latest research and living well with mesothelioma.

The details of ARCA’s AGM aren’t yet finalised, but we know it’s taking place on 2 October. We’ll update this listing when more information is available, but for now – save the date!
3-19 November 2026
Various and remote
The autumn ARCA regionals are taking place in November, with the usual range of locations covering most of Britain. If you can’t make it along in person, sign up for the remote meeting on 19 November, which takes place over Zoom. Watch out, though – the south east meeting clashes with the Global Asbestos Forum conference in Birmingham.
16-17 November 2026
Location – the Library of Birmingham
Returning after last year’s triumph in Norway, the Global Asbestos Forum takes place during November this year. Expect the usual mix of incredible speakers, thought-provoking content, and a truly world-class venue in the Library of Birmingham. We’ll post more details here when we get them!
